New York Institute of Technology is now a member of the prestigious  (AITU), a group of more than 20 leading private American technological universities and colleges including Caltech, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, RPI, Stevens Institute of Technology and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Founded in 1957, AITUs mission is to play a vital role in securing the future of American competitiveness in the global marketplace. It embraces the same core values shared by 雅伎著, which include promoting creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship; offering a technology-fueled education that leads to rewarding careers; and nurturing interest in STEM and professional education from K-12 onward.
