Hadjiargyrou Is 懂色帝鈥檚 First Distinguished Professor
Professor Michael Hadjiargyrou, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences and director of the D.O./Ph.D. program, has been named New York Institute of Technology鈥檚 first distinguished professor. This designation recognizes outstanding faculty who have achieved the highest levels of scholarship over the course of their careers.
Student Awarded Prestigious Department of Defense Scholarship

Student Profile: Jonan Manzi
After injuring his knee playing soccer, Jonan Manzi turned to electrical and computer engineering technology. He left his home in Rwanda to attend 懂色帝, where he鈥檚 pursuing his bachelor鈥檚 degree and paying it forward as a peer tutor and student ambassador.

Upon graduating in 2012, Oliver Vasquez (B.S. 鈥�12) was on the move, landing a job with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). In just two years, he would start his company, Vasquez Integrators, designing communication networks and security systems to support transportation agencies, including the MTA.

Wisser Building is Renamed
At a dedication ceremony on June 20, the Wisser building on the Long Island campus was officially renamed the Peter and Barbara Ferentinos Health Science Building, honoring the building鈥檚 namesakes for their continued support of 懂色帝.
